Solar Power Information
Solar Pool Cover, they can come in liquid form or as a plastic sheet. The liquid film coats the top of your pool. The film is an alcohol and evaporates retaining heat and water (preventing evaporation).

Solar Pool Covers come in all types. From ring shapes, plastic sheets to "fish".
The solar rings and sheets are the simplest. The sheet is just like any other pool cover only it allows solar heat in to your pool water. The solar rings are similiar in that they retain heat in your pool when not in use.
The fish are filled with an alcohol and wax base. This floats to the top of your pool forming a thin film. This film coats your pool and retains heat and prevents water loss by having the alcohol evaporate first.
I would use the solar rings or the plastic sheets personally. Having a thin coat of alcohol or wax coating on my skin doesn't sound very safe or normal.

The Chemistry Behind The Solar Power

In the following article, we'll explain how a residential solar (PV) cells convert photons from sunlight into electric current for households. This process is called the photoelectric effect. We will also explain how electrons move through various states of silicon of photoelectric cells in households to produce solar electricity.

The photoelectric effect is a key concept, because that is how the sunlight is converted into free electrons that light interacts with in the solar cell. Lacking the imaginative work of Albert Einstein, the physical characteristics of sunlight might not be recognized. I never knew the impact that his ideas inspired know give me the opportunity to feed my home using solar electricity.

Think of sunlight as a beam of photon particles. These beams of energy are absorbed into the lattice structure of silicon. These silicon solar cells that make up a solar panel on your home then transfer their energy to an electron in the outer layer of the silicon atom.

When a single electron gains enough energy from the penetration of photons, it breaks free and floats around the truss structure and are no longer bonded. This negatively...
